Silk Trends (Hair Salon)

Silk Trends is an award winning hair salon and training academy, specialising in afro, mixed textured and European type hair styling, and provide education opportunities to budding hair stylists throughout the region. Established in February 2007, the salon constantly strives for perfection to ensure the client's expectations are exceeded.

The salon provides customers with a range of hairdressing services, and has a charming and welcoming atmosphere. The experienced staff ensure clients obtain the desired look through a complimentary consultation on each visit. The services are designed to enhance the client's physical appearance and promote mental relaxation every time.

Ingrid Farrell, salon director, won 2nd prize in the Afro Hair and Beauty Show 2009 Stop Watch Styling competition, and was voted Weave Stylist of the year at the Creme de la Creme British Hair Awards 2007, as well as finalist in the Stylist of the Year and Styling Team of the Year categories.

Silk Trends is a member of the Nation Hairdressers' Federation (NHF). Ingrid, has been contributing to the Hairdressing industry for over 25 years. She is a dedicated and professional hair stylist and lecturer of hairdressing, and has the right mix of skills to manage the salon, having previously worked for a top West End salon and managed salons abroad.
